Ok i have no idea how successful this is going to be since i have no idea how many people read my blogs haha
Anyway little background info i was brought up a christian by my mother and god has helped me through the hardest of times. I only became a true christian when i went to high school thanks to my good friend kj (who is now an athiest kinda funny imo :p) during and after high school i was up and down with christianity i never denounced my faith but i was just a horrible christian. I got baptised at the age of 19 and not to long after that i became an agnostic, the bible was just so full of unknown things and metaphors that frankly just didnt make sense but a good friend of mine reminded me that i shouldnt walk away from god just cause of the little things in the bible which is sort of tru i mean sure because of god i am a christian again but that doesnt mean i should blindly believe in the bible which is where this blog comes into it. I have questions and i would LOVE answers to be honest i think kj and wayd will be the only people that will read this so i probably should just ask them but meh i felt like writing a blog
First question why is there different spellings of places and names through the different versions of the bible i mean they dont seem to get Jesus or God wrong. For example nicolaitanes is spelt differently in few versions and also another question that involve the nicolaitanes who the HECK are they!?!?!?!?! They appear only in revealations and apparantyly God really dislikes them and being like them is punishable, that is all you know about them. Third and last (i have many more but that can be another time) Is there two Gods? LORD God and God i am tending towards the fact that there is or else there is a huge FAIL in the bible, In genisis it clearly states that God not LORD God makes the plants, trees etc THEN man in HIS image but then in the next chapter it says LORD God makes Adam in the image of MAN not in HIS image also he makes Adam and apparantly there was no trees or plants etc so he made them (Garden of Eden) Now im not to sure about this but i dont think LORD God come up much or at all after the creation so please if you can shed light on any of these that would be helpful :D
